ARFiN BROKER strengthens its position in Slovakia

ARFiN BROKER has been active in Slovakia since May 2019, through its Czech license. Since then the company focused on brokerage services in the area of ​​a specialized insurance product, which is trade credit insurance, has built a portfolio of clients with a combined turnover of over 1 billion EUR. The Slovak branch ARFiN BROKER Slovakia, s.r.o., was registered in the Commercial Register at the end of November 2020 and in April 2021 the company was registered by NBS.

Since 2021 ARFiN BROKER brings its business partners in Slovakia a local service with a local team. “ARFiN Group has the ambition to become the largest specialized broker in the field of trade credit insurance in Slovakia and Czech Republic,” said Tomáš Jurík, Managing Partner.

During the short period of its operation in Slovakia, marked by a pandemic and global economic downturn, the company managed to build a portfolio of approximately 3% of the total TCI market and 5% of the brokered portfolio (calculated based on AFP results and market size public information).

“Our basic philosophy is to provide professional service with a human touch. The added value for clients is the experience of team members who have worked for all four commercial TCI insurers on the Czech and Slovak markets for more than 10 years on average. They have been part of local and regional structures as well.” explains Tomáš Jurík.
